Hash Brown Hot Dish

This is my take on a recipe I found in the church cookbook Kitchen Keepsakes. I've modified the original recipe by adding extra spices, cheese, & onion.

Ingredients:
1 package hash browns (I use Simply Potatoes shredded hash browns)
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of cheddar soup
1 lb ground beef
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
2 tsps dried basil
2 tsps dried oregano
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 can corn
1 can green beans
3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheese

Brown ground beef with garlic, onion, basil, oregano, & pepper
Drain grease
Drain corn & green beans
Mix all ingredients, except hash browns, together
Pour mixture into 13"x9" greased pan
Top mixture with hash browns & bake at 350ยบ for 45 mins - 1 hr
During last 15 mins of cooking, place shredded cheese on top of hash browns
